Embrace change:

A mistake many people make when they go to the gym is they find a few exercises they like and stick with them forever.

The correct thing to do is change your routine every six to eight weeks, otherwise you get into a pattern and you stop producing results because your body has hit a plateau.  That is to say that your muscles will get used to the exercise(s), and your muscle strength will fail to improve.

Personal coaching is a great way to achieve your goals and to keep challenging your body.  Speak to one of the trainers in the gym and ask their advice on putting together a new workout routine.  Even just one personal coaching session every 6-8 weeks to change your program will keep your workout fresh and your body challenged!

A program can also incorporate ‘cross training’ such as including a Spin class, Step class or Pilates class in order to add variety, a key in staying motivated and improving your fitness level.

Do this and you will get and feel the results!
