Exercise Intensity:

To achieve specific objectives

Have a goal!

Why do you come to the gym?  Is your goal to improve your ability to wander through the mall chatting to friends and checking messages on your cell phone…NO?  Then it shouldn’t really be an option during your workout either.  Consider your intensity, your effort, and your perceived exertion; are you really working hard enough?

If you are here to improve your health and fitness, pick up the pace!  Your body is designed to respond and adapt to challenges.  Do you feel challenged?  It’s not a matter of simply “clocking in” on a machine; you’ve got to make it count.  Regis and Kelly don’t care about your health and fitness (Oprah either), but we certainly do. If you’re not sure what I am talking about, come see me about a workout, we’ll see if I can change your perspective in 30 minutes or less.

Heart rate, time, distance, pace, fatigue, sweat, strength, perseverance, determination.

The above are some of the tools that get results.  Success is measurable.

 Measure your results!

  •  Has your pace increased?

  •  Have your reps increased?

  • Can you move more weight?

  • Is your recovery time quicker?

  •  Have you lost body fat?  etc…

Evaluate yourself and try to improve. Isn’t that why you’re here?

It’s fun, it’s challenging, but mostly, it’s rewarding.

I promise that you will look & feel fantastic, but you have to work for it!

Become strong, become fit!
