Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to reserve a court?
A: Squash members must reserve their courts. All court reservations
may be made 7 days in advance at reception, either in person or by
telephone. A member must give their name and the name of their opponent for
all reservations.
Q: Are there court fees?
A: The majority of squash memberships include court fees. Check with
Member Services if you are not sure of your membership type.
Q: Am I able to rent a racquet?
A: Racquet rentals, pending availability, are done through the pro
shop (Boutique Pro-Cordage). Players must supply their own ball and eyewear.
Protective eyewear is highly recommended.
Q: I am new in the area, and would like to have a squash partner. Can
you arrange something?
A: Our squash director will be able to connect you with another one
of our members or suggest one of our many leagues or ladders. Our website (find
a partner)
also offers a partner search function for all squash members.
Q: My child would like to learn how to play squash.
A: We offer a junior squash program for children between the ages of
8 and 15 years old. Lessons are offered at different times throughout the
week and are taught in small groups. Protective eyewear is mandatory for all
juniors. For more information, please contact the
squash director.
Q: Can I also use the gym/fitness center if I am a squash member?
A: For a nominal fee, most squash members may add the fitness
membership as a secondary activity onto their squash membership. Please
contact the Member Services
department for upgrade information.
Q: Can I also play tennis if I am a squash member?
A:
Any squash member may play tennis; however, a “Pay As You Play” (PAYP)
tennis court fee will apply. For a complete list of tennis court fees, see
our membership pricing
or contact the Members
Services department. |
