Squash Ranking Point System
What affects the ranking?
The total of ranking points each player has is the result of
his or her wins and losses against other ranked players. The points gained
by the winner and lost by the loser are set according to the point
difference between the players before the match. The table below shows the
possible scenarios.
Example: Player A has 1075 points. Player B has 1000 points.
If the match is a level 2 calculation, and player A wins, player A gains 8
points, player B loses 8 points. If player B wins, player B gains 18 points,
and player A loses 18 points.
For ranking purposes, the Thursday Night House League, Summer
League and the Box Ladder will be level 2 ranking matches; Saturday League,
Blitz tournaments, Challenge Ladder and Beer League (when applicable) will
be level 1; direct ranking challenge matches will be level 3; and the Club
Championships will be level 4.
