Beer League
Beer
League runs every Friday night starting at 5:00 pm during the regular
season, and on select Fridays throughout the summer. This activity is open
to all levels of players. Participants are divided into 2 teams.
Breakfast Club
Every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 am men and women of all
levels can drop by courts 3 & 4 and play friendly games with each
other. This activity is both social and competitive. When players of
differing abilities are paired up, the stronger players are encouraged
to give the weaker players an enjoyable game.
Direct Ranking Challenge
Any player can challenge any other player up
to 15 positions ahead on the
Club Player Ranking;
both players must agree before the match
starts that the match will be registered as a challenge match. All completed
challenge matches must be reported to the squash professional to update the
rankings. All Direct Ranking Challenge matches will be entered at a ‘level 3’
value.
House League
This
league is for players of all categories. Players are grouped into teams and
matches are played on Thursday evenings starting at 5:40 pm. Matches are
played best of 5 games, using traditional scoring. There are usually three
sessions throughout the year: Fall, Winter and Summer sessions. The format
of the league changes depending on the session;
please refer to the General Rules & Regulations section for each
session's specifics.
Snakes & Ladders
Players are grouped into boxes of 5, based on calibre. Players are responsible
for scheduling matches with other players in their box within a specific time
frame. Matches are played best of 5 games, using traditional scoring. Snakes
and Ladders are for all categories of players, men and women.
Social Round Robin
This activity takes place on Tuesday evenings from 7:40 to 9:00 pm. It is
open to players of all levels, men and women. Participants play one
game. At the end of the game, the winner stays on the court and plays
the next player in line. After playing 2 consecutive games, he/she must
vacate the court and allow the next person in line to play. The social
round robin is both competitive and social. When players of differing
abilities are paired up, the stronger players are encouraged to give the
weaker players an enjoyable game.
